Government Study Commission
The Government Study Commission was organized on June 13th, 2018 after voters overwhelmingly supported its creation through referendum on May 15th, 2018. The commission was formed to investigate the viability of Home Rule and if found favorable, drafting a Home Rule Charter for Greenville residents who voted to approve the Home Rule Charter in November 2019.
