Charter Review Commission

The Charter Review Commission elects will take their Oath of Office and organize on January 6th, 2025. The meeting is scheduled for 6 pm and will be held at the Greenville Senior Center, 45 Alan Avenue, Greenville, PA 16125. The Charter Review Commission was formed per Article 9.2 (Charter Review Commission) of the Home Rule Charter. The purpose of this Review Commission is to conduct a review of the Charter. Per Article 9.2 (Charter Review Commission) the Commission shall review the Charter and within six months, conduct their review and adopt, by a majority vote, any recommendations. Council shall submit any proposed amendments recommended by the Commission to a vote of the people in the manner provided under this Charter and the State Constitution. Amendments shall be in the form provided by Council.
